WHY IS IT MUCH QUICKER AND EASIER TO REPLACE THE CARTRIDGE WITH YOUR TOOLS?
Our (Patent Pending) tools enable you to remove the old leaking cartridge without having to remove the entire valve – we were the first in the industry to develop this approach. We have also developed a range of video material to assist in undertaking the job which makes the process quick and simple.
MY ORDER IS URGENT, WHAT DELIVERY OPTIONS DO I HAVE?
You can select Special Delivery from the drop down menu on the Order page. Orders will be delivered by 1pm the next day (excluding Sunday and Bank Holidays). If you need your order the same day, collection from SL9 can normally be arranged but contact us first to check.
IS MY ORDER POSTED WITH A TRACKING SERVICE
All orders of £25 or more are sent Royal Mail with tracking. A tracking number is issued when the post charge has been paid by us and then Royal Mail confirm when delivery to you has taken place. This means we can resolve issues quickly in the unlikely event that your order is lost in the postal system.
I DON’T HAVE PAYPAL, CAN I STILL ORDER FROM YOU?
Yes. Place your order in the normal way and on the PayPal screen select “Check Out” without a PayPal account. You can then enter your credit or debit card details.
WHAT IS YOUR RETURNS POLICY?
Providing you have not used the tools or opened any of the sealed bags you can return for a full refund less our cost of posting to you.
WHAT TOOLS DO I GET WITH MY ORDER?
It depends on the diverter valve you have. For the Ecotec Pro, Plus and Glowworm CX/CXI you receive the tools shown in the video and a compatible replacement cartridge. The EcoFit and other Glowworm valves do not have the same cartridge arrangement. For these you receive compatible replacement seals, valve pin and bung plus fitting instructions.
HOW DO I ORDER MULTIPLE ITEMS FROM YOUR WEBSITE?
Select your first item from the drop down list, click “Add to Cart” and this will then take you to the secure PayPal site. On the top right hand corner of the PayPal site select “Continue shopping” and this will return you to our order page where you can select the next item.
ARE ALL THE VAILLANT ECOTEC VALVES THE SAME?
Whilst there are a considerable number of models in the Ecotec range, there are only 3 types of diverter valve used. The early models have the valve with the black electrical connector which cannot be self repaired. If you have this type of valve contact us for advice. The other 2 valves have the red electrical connector – one is black plastic and the other is brass. Apart from being made from different material they are nearly identical and the internal cartridge is the same in both. We only ask you which of these valves you have when ordering as the tools required are slightly different.
ARE GLOWWORM VALVES THE SAME AS VAILLANT?
Yes. Glowworm is owned by Vaillant and they have been standardising the components used in these boilers. Make sure you know what model you have before ordering to ensure you select the correct repair kit.

No. We design our own tools and check the quality of all manufactured parts.
